Border Energy Forum XXI

Join us for the 21st Border Energy Forum October 15-17, 2014 in Monterrey, Nuevo León

More than ever, the potential of clean energy like natural gas and renewables, combined with traditional oil production, in the ten border states is boundless.

The Border Energy Forum is a collaborative effort among the 10 border states along the US / Mexico border. The original idea for the Forum was to gather 50 people each from the United States and Mexico once a year to exchange information about the best ways to produce and consume energy in our fast-growing region, forge new partnerships and help each other work together on our twin goals of economic development and environmental protection.

Although we have grown to an annual crowd surpassing 300, usually evenly divided between Americans and Mexicans, we have otherwise fulfilled that original concept to become a cornerstone of energy policy and program development for the region.

We have representatives from the federal governments of both Mexico and the United States, as well as state and local officials from both sides of the border. We have men and women from the private sector – energy producers and energy consumers – university professors researchers and members of environmental groups.

The Forum has met at least once in each of the 10 U.S. and Mexican border states.

Early Registration costs are $250 for Private Sector participants and $175 for Non-profit and Government participants until September 30, 2014. Starting October 1st, prices are $300 for Private Sector participants and $225 for Non-profit and Government participants.
