La Plaza Mall Renovation Moves Forward

La Plaza Mall has moved forward on a $2.4 million renovation, according to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The mall’s owner, Simon Property Group, said ill install a new stairwell, two elevators and a new escalator in what’s called the “La Plaza Mall Express Space Renovation.”

The updates are expected to be complete in May 2016.
