Texas State Technical College is in the beginning stages of exploring the creation of a compressed natural gas curriculum and is asking local industry organizations about not just interest in the effort, but if they think adding such a curriculum is critical to the growth of the industry.
“As the program is explored further, we may call on organizations who can assist us with subject matter expertise and advisory roles,” said TSTC Senior Executive Director of Industry Relations and Talent Management Edgar Padilla.
During the 82nd Session, the Texas Legislature passed the legislation that created the Texas Clean Transportation Triangle. According to Padilla, industry is mobilizing to address skills, technology and demand gaps for this growing space.
